- You know, when I deployed I had a very clear idea of what I was doing. Now not so much.
- Personally I never equip and deploy until I know who my opponent is.

- Well I don't know who anyone is yet, so it's all the same to me!
- I probably don't benefit from it either, really. It's probably just in my head, but I still do it.

- Grrr! I get the feeling this isn't going to be a good mission for me. 2 opportunity shots and 1 aimed all with a Laser Rifle miss. Then you have 2 opportunity shots with an MK-1 from a longer distance and hit with both!! What were the chances!

- Stone is a crack shot, that's why I've got him keeping an eye down that corridor. His 2nd round went through the hole the 1st one made, which is why it hardly did any damage!
- Gah this is going from bad to worse!

- I take back what I said about him being a crack shot - should've used a grenade :/
- Don't worry, I made such a mess of that last turn you can have a 2nd chance.

- ...looks like I'll need a 3rd chance too. These guys reckon they are professional soldiers? I beg to differ.
- Well it seems not even a grenade can guarantee a kill.

- Must've got a dodgy batch from the wholesalers. Nerve gas seems to work OK though :s
- Things seem to be swinging back in your favour. If Barker had managed to throw that grenade then it might have been a different story, but as it is I think they're going to have to send another team in.
- Ever get that feeling that someone is sneaking up behind you?
- Ah, nuts. I was going to throw a grenade around that corner, but convinced myself that creeping forward for a peep would be a good idea. At least this is proving to be educational!
- Lol, don't you just hate that.
If only that dodgey grenade I threw at you had been a bit more powerful... Posted by

- "Lost his nerve and never got it back... dropped the grenade, couldn't run far enough away." Not a very poetic epitath, but accurate as all hell.
- Was that intentional suicide, or did something go horribly wrong?
Good game anyway, I thought you were going to wipe the floor with me near the start. I've beat you 3 out of 3 now, but all of them have been close ganes with me feeling very lucky to win. Posted by

- I'm not a suicide kinda guy - things going horribly wrong is much more my style. His morale was low for ages (can't think why!). Was planning to take the door down with a grenade and then open fire... would've worked too if he hadn't kept panicking and dropping things. Things like a primed grenade, for example. Was too injured to prime and throw in one turn, had to do it in stages. Didn't really work out. Do people regain morale over time, or if they manage to kill people? I know that'd help steady MY nerve.
Fun games they've been so far - I'm just working out the mechanics of things (like explosion radius and how far you can throw things) so I might be able to give you more of a run for your money before too much longer. Probably not so much today, though - just finished working a night shift so I'm supposed to be sleeping.
- I can't actually remember if morale slowly goes up on it's own or not. I know for certain that you can regain morale by killing enemy units - there is a boost for the team, and a larger boost for the killer. The same with using medikits, the healed unit gets a large morale boost, while the rest of the team receive a smaller boost.
Yeah our games have been good ones. I don't think it will be long before you are beating me on a regular basis. I reckon you are probably much better than I was after playing only a handful of games. Then I suppose you have bags of experience from LSN. I never really had the chance to play LSN much, only about 10 games max. 90% of my experience of playing games like this was from playing single player games (Rebelstar, Laser Squad, UFO/X-Com, Jagged Alliance, Silent Storm etc,etc)- it took a bit of adapting to get used to playing against other people. - IIRC, morale only goes up slightly on its own once the unit has actually panicked (to stop them panicking every turn).
