- Yeah, no teams in this game, every man for himself- the last man standing wins. :)

- scrap that, i deselected 'my computer has lots of memory' and bingo! turn taken

- I think the winner should be the player who neutralize the most opponents units. Otherwise if 3 players engage in fight then the 4th player will have great chance to win using his full troop.

- That mission already exists as "4-Player Kill Frenzy": http://www.stellarforces.com/dsr/missiondescriptions.cls?type=55 . I think I created that mission for the same reason you describe.

- Hmmm...now it's turn 12 and no unit killed but I agree cause the solution for any war is peace :)

- I can't wait to see the playback to this one! Is everyone seriously just cowering in the corners waiting for everyone else to wipe each other out? lol.

- Yes :) I learned this from Deadlime, Game 1236 Capture the F.L.A.G. 4-Player :) Works.

- Maybe team work would be good here.

- It's a trick! ;)

- The "4-player Kill Frenzy" mission is on a randomly generated map though. There isn't a version which uses this "Capture the Flag" map.

- It's about "Last Man Standing - CTF Map 4-Player"

- I think the new hidden number off enemy units might help to prevent this mission being such a stalemate. Because you don't know how many enemy remain it encourages people to fight, for all you know there could only be a couple of enemy units left so it now in our interest to go for it.

- Speak for yourself Deadlime and go for it :) I know you will wait until we kill each other :)

- Seriously, i'm starting to dislike this mission, it sounds that the winner is the one who hiddes and waits with Op-Fire. Lets see if i'm wrong :)

- I propose this:
The player who eliminate all the other players will win. If not then the player who neutralize the most enemy units, will win.
What you say ? Posted by
wonderhero 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- I mean the player who was eliminated is not taken into account.
Posted by
wonderhero 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- That's pretty much exactly what the Kill Frenzy mission is. I might remove this mission, since it suffers from the problem Pedro describes.

- Steve, Kill Frenzy mission must be improved. First player can still eliminate one or two opponents in first turn. The map is too small or needs more mazes.
What about alliance for Last Man Standing mission ? Posted by
wonderhero 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- This conversation seems to be going round and round. :) We need a Kill Frenzy rules mission using this "Capture the Flag" Map.

Deadlime 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Lave it with me, shouldn't take too long. I'll remove this mission as well.

SteveSmith 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Done now. The Kill Frenzy has the LMS map, and I've removed 4P LMS.

SteveSmith 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Didn't Kill Frenzy already use the Last Man Standing random generated map? I thought you were creating another Kill Frenzy using the Capture the Flag map?

Deadlime 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Ooops, that's what comes of not reading posts properly. Leave it with me (again)...
Posted by
SteveSmith 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Definitely done properly now, and I've started a game.

SteveSmith 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Nice. There's currently only 4 units per team, which is ok, but do you think it might be better increased to 8, since the map is so big?
Also you should delete the text in the mission briefing which says about using a randomly generated map. Posted by
Deadlime 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Would be nice 8 units per team
Posted by
wonderhero 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Shall I restart the mission after changing it to 8 units per side?
Posted by
SteveSmith 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Since some people have already equipped and deployed I think we may as well play out this one as it is, don't you guys think?
Posted by
Deadlime 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- I agree.
Posted by
wonderhero 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Fair enough, but it's changed ready for the next game now.

SteveSmith 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- "The winner is the player who kills the most enemy units."..and he must have at least one survivor till the end. Otherwise he can suicide his units after neutralize enough enemy units.
Please update the mission's information. Posted by

- I don't know what really happened, but... My opinion remains the same :(
Posted by
PCasaca 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- What did happen? Why did you concede?
Posted by
Deadlime 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Of course you are right. I thought this game will be canceled.
Posted by
wonderhero 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Feel free to concede as well. ;)
Posted by
Deadlime 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- :) We start a new game, same map but other mission.
Posted by
wonderhero 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- Sure, but we are on turn 24 with only 6 turns to go, we may as well finish this. :)
Posted by
Deadlime 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- So the console had right, I should prime to detonate at 4. I primed at 2 because only 2 players left.
Posted by
wonderhero 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- I wondered what you had done wrong. I think you're lucky this time that your mistake won't cost you the game. :)
Posted by
Deadlime 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- I wanted to ask Steve to be sure, but since 2 players conceded I took it as a test :)
Posted by
wonderhero 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- I suppose it was a good opportunity to test it for yourself. :)
Posted by
Deadlime 14 years ago [Login to reply]
- I can confirm that what happened was correct. :)
