- Steve my unit couldn't catch the grenade that was thrown from 12 squares. This happened twice. Is there a limit for throw distance ?

- Grenade just hit the unit. The target unit had empty hands and was facing the thrower.

- There is a limit to the throwing distance, dependent on the item's weight and the unit's strength. Did the grenade get thrown far enough to reach the "catcher"?

- Do you know if the catcher had at least 3 APs? If the catcher isn't carrying an item, isn't an alien or blob, can see the thrower, and has at least 3 APs, they should catch it. Can you remember what the console said (something like 'the grenade has hit unit x')?

- Yes the unit had enough points and console said "the grenade has hit unit x".
The distances was: 10 and 12 squares. Grenade: AP75 Posted by

- Sorry I'm not sure about what console said at that grenades. I threw a lot of grenades.
Maybe grenade has hit the wall behind the catcher. Posted by

- Well played, BTW. As you can see from the playback, my tactic was to wait until you were close and then shower you in nerve gas. Unfortunately by the time I spotted you, you were all over me! I was lucky to walk away with 4 units alive. And my #2 feels a bit put out. ;)

- Steve, I know that nerve gas and smoke has a chance of disappearing but I think it shouldn't disappear at least one turn (first) after explosion.
When your nerve grenade exploded I found 5 squares without gas, in the middle of explosion. Posted by

- I agree there should be a delay of at least a turn before it starts to disappear.

- Yes, you're right. It's something I always think when I see a smoke/nerve grenade go off, but then by the time I've finished my turn I've forgotten all about it again.
