Game 19917: petermock, paasque in 'Alien Hordes: Xenophobia'

- Hi Steve, Something weird happened halfway through this game. An extra human appeared and was used by paasque to attack. It came from nowhere. I killed the top four humans inside the building and paasques 4 remaining men were all south in the building. The mystery man appeared just outside the top left side door. You can watch the playback and he is there. Have I finally cracked or is this design or bug?

- So I killed 9 men in Xenophobia. It happens around event 700 ish. The human pops up in the doorway and paasaque had control of it and started shooting. There was a dead human in the doorway before this happened. Dead bodies coming to life!? I can't handle this. Zombie mania is getting out of control!

- I remembered that was a little weird. For me it looked like your alien just went through or past my soldier, but did not thinke more over it...

- Weird stuff. I definitely killed your man and he appeared alive a couple of turns later. Spooky! You can watch it on the playback.
Our previous long game your MS Autocannon was firing double shots instead of single ones. Looked like double damage too. I think your "dead" man was recorded as dead in the game log. Later he is shooting again! The aliens are supposed to be the scary ones! Posted by

- Autocannons on opp fire often give the impression of double shooting. From experience it's just 2 opp fire shots I think (the second triggered by you turning or moving again), I think it's just noticeable with autocannons because of their scary shooting fx!
Very occasionally I've encountered the man coming back from the dead, due to server disconnection, just agreed with the other player (think one of the times was against Herod, another against Deadlime or Victor) that that unit would take no further part in the game. When it happened to me the corpse stayed on the ground as well, freaky ghosts... Posted by

- Hi Jez, Thanks for the info. You could be right. Steve thinks it maybe a comms issue with our phones / devices. The autocannon definitely shot 2 bolts or bullets with my unit moving one square. The 9th man was more concerning. I wouldn't want to fight against Hokunda with 9 men at his disposal! Only happens with paasque and myself, none if my other opponents. Only a problem if it happens too often I suppose. ps I like your new games. :)

- Maybe I got the wrong impression. I thought Angels of Death and cabin in the woods were your creations? I'm not really all guns firing at the moment, four electricians are rewiring my house and a kitchen designer discussing infinite choices of beige.

- Nope, the first is nothing to do with me, the second just has a couple of things I suggested in it but I'd change it a lot :D

- My confusion! Angel one is too easy for the humans but I like the idea. I'm not fond of re-animator style missions. When I kill something it stays dead but that is just me. But Cabin in the woods has an interesting map and likeable zombie story.

- Well, the map was my idea, so I guess I can take credit for that at least ;)
