Game 1383: Deadlime, Narts in 'Alien Escape'

- Unlucky Narts, if Private Eye had been a little quicker I think you would have slipped the net. I made a couple of mistakes closing you down. I had no idea where your last unit was for quite a while, and I think I got lucky finding him to be honest. Good game. :)

- I've just had a quick look at your player stats. Private Eye was your joint slowest unit. Lucky for me it was him who slipped past because I would never have caught some of your other guys.

- Where I got real unlucky was with Private Clarke firing 12 shots at the two aliens almost right next to him and missing with every single one. I'm never going to trust auto shot again...
Quite hilarious also how I completely failed to notice the alien in the same room with the rocket launcher guy who killed himself by shooting at the wall(also with auto fire)

- 6 shots that is... I forget the log repeats everything for both players

- Yeah I noticed the Private Clarke thing. That was insane. He had shot skill 40 which is very good, a Marsec Auto gun (I think) which is a pretty accurate weapon. I've never seen someone suffer such terrible shooting under those circumstances. Very unlucky. The only explanation could be that he purpsoely sabotaged the mission to help me out, since Private Clarke is based on myself! :D(Clarke is my surname).
And Priavte Riga shooting the wall with a Rocket Launcher, what happened there?? Posted by

- I was trying to aim past that corner (and Clarke's shoulder) in what I knew was a very risky shot - which predictably backfired. I was desperate to kill those two bastards...

- Ahh right, ha ha, and then you noticed the Alien behind you.
Well you have earned yourself an award for the incident anyway. :) Posted by

- Actually I didn't even see the alien behind Riga until I watched the replay. :p I didn't have enough AP to both scan the room and fire the rocket.

- I don't think neither me or Narts enjoyed watching Private Clarke demonstrate how not to fire a Marsec Autogun, lol.

- Erm, I'd prefer if he wasn't to be honest. :) It wasn't his fault anyway, it was caused by a dodgy rifle with a bent barrel! :D

- Yeah that's right, you Globex boys always blaming the high quality Marsec products.

- That's it I'll go full wonderhero and only use grenades from now on.

- "Full wonderhero" lol :)

- Was, but now 60% grenades & 40% weapons. Full grenades can lead to not enough weapons to fight, not mention that low CC skill units can throw very wrong and hurt your team.
Also in my last game vs Deadlime, full grenades loaded didn't help me. Sometimes it's better and faster to use opp fire after a corner at a close range even using a pistol. Posted by

- I agree, a good balance of both firearms and grenades is the most deadly option. :)
