- Sorry for the delay. I think due to the size of the map and number of units, the app runs quite slowly and it takes me ages to move them all.
Do you think there's a danger of this mission turning into hide-and-seek across a massive map?
- It is running slow, can you crop it top buttom, there is a large area that is not being used, and takes up time. I have been playtesting with petermock, and I did come up with the idea that there should be a mission for the humans. It will be a Rescue From The Mines kind of, but with computers to reach/destroy. 10 computers across the map, but a random of 5 to reach/destroy.

- Can I crop it the spredsheed? will you still be able to use it? because if the number in the corner, is not maching the X,Y cordinates of the map, i cant seem load it in the editor.

- Off the top of my head, the maps need to be square. However, the size of the map isn't directly the problem, it's the distance between the units, so cropping the top and bottom won't make any difference. The program draws an imaginary line between each unit, and checks the map squares along each line (until it gets to a wall). It's not a major problem, but it's just noticably slower.
- Ok, can the random computers be easy added to the game.

- That won't be a problem. Just add all of them to the map, and I'll code it to remove 5 randomly at the start.

- No? It went better than I thought it would. ;) However, with missions without a specific geographical focus, there is a danger that both sides could end up wandering around trying to find each other.
- Your right, lets have go with the computers.
