- Are destroying the CPU's counting towards VP's ? By now it should be a win. Sorry about the cheeky bank style break in. Thought it might work.

- No, its only in The old base that computers are counting. But Incendiary Grenade are the way to go, had that in mind also.

- I need to swear! ******* ****! That was Anglo Saxon probably. I thought my attack was so neat but now pointless. Got to kill lots of aliens.I like Incendiary grenades though aliens can spread the fire to humans. Quite expensive to buy. I think the weapon cache idea is fun but maybe the marines could do with extra credits as well?

- We can bust the credits in advance options, 150-200.

- How about incorporating the Stardrive scanner into the mission (like in the Aliens film) - so you can detect the distance of aliens but not their exact location?

- Thats a good idea, dont know how the device works here in SF, but could give marines a better chance to complete the mission.

- In the Stardrive mission you equip it like a normal piece of equipment. I think it costs about 8 aps to use and it tells you how many squares away the Stardrive is. So, in this mission, if you have 2 groups of marines you might buy 2 scanners. Once you're in the complex you usually won't be able to use it to pinpoint aliens with any accuracy but you'll know if one is close. Maybe it could just tell you the closest, or it could be modified to tell the distances of all aliens in a certain radius?
I think it would add to the tension :) beep... beep... beep... Posted by

- It sure will. The radius sounds like fun, but still there should be a non-accuracy for each alien inside the radius, so you dont know the precise square where the alien is.

- All you know is the distance, not the location. They could be anywhere, ahead, or... behind yoaargh! Kind of like in the film where they know the aliens are closing in but can't see them.

- I imagine on operating it you'd get a readout on screen, something like: alien 5 squares away, alien 6 squares away, alien 8 squares away.
You only get the reading when you operate the scanner. So by operating it, walking forward then operating it again you can get some idea of direction, but usually not exact location. Using it wisely would be a skill.
I don't think it should say their names, that way if some aliens move into scanner range and some move just out of range you don't know if they are the same aliens. Posted by

- sounds like a good feature to the mission, its up to Steve to make it happen.
