• It's my first time on this map and my first game in a while, so I'm not sure, but I figured they were the little glowing things.

• Okay, speaking of explosions - are there grenades that create obstacles? Those are new since the last time I played, although that was a while ago.

• smoke grenades create a "visual obstacle", but are safe to walk through.
  
  nerve gas creates also creates a "visual obstace", but also causes damage when moving or staying in it.

• Ah, that explains things. Can you shoot through the smoke even though you don't have specific targets?

  On a more serious note the game hangs on loading equipment data, have tried a few times now. No problems with my other games I am playing.. Any thoughts??

• I've just tried it myself and it works for me. Do you have another computer you could try? Are you behind a company firewall or something?

• All my other games are working but no not behind a company firewall, proxy etc etc. Did you log in as me Steve? If not please feel free to reset my password and try.
  
  FYI I tried again and it still is hanging at loading equipment.

• Yeah, I tried using your login and didn't have a problem. Strange why it should be this one game. Do you have any anti-virus or intelligent firewall? I'm guessing that something like that is mis-identifying the data as some kind of virus, so if you do, could you try temporarily turning those off?
