Game 1559: Deadlime, wonderhero, SteveSmith, PCasaca in 'Escort 2v2'
You are here: Stellar Forces > Your Games > Game 1559: Deadlime, wonderhero, SteveSmith, PCasaca in 'Escort 2v2'
- Deadlime, how your unit died in turn 4, in that first nerve gas, bottom of map ? You should lose only 12 HP + maximum 6 to get out of there because he was on edge.

- I was wondering that myself, but I couldn't remember exactly how Nerve Gas worked. I know I certainly didn't have any chance to move out of it on this occasion.

- It's not first time when I noticed this, but I wasn't sure. Steve will you check if Nerve Gas does damage only at the start of player's turn ?
Steve, remember our last finished game "Capture the flag" 1473, your unit died inside the nerve gas and I'm sure you didn't move him. Posted by

- I'll have a look into it. It all gets shown in the game log.

- Looking at the game log, all my units died in close combat. It was the honourable way to go.

- Can you check game log for Dealime's unit #1 or #4 to find out how he died ? His number is not marked on my scanner, only a circle.

- My unit 1 was killed when I didn't get the chance to move out of Nerve Gas.
My unit 4 was killed by the 'bug' which meant explosions were not deflected by walls/doors, which should now have been fixed in the latest client. Posted by

- Unit #1 died in strange conditions. This must be checked.
But #4, the door should not give the same protection like wall, so I wasn't surprised when your unit died. Posted by

- If a door is open or destroyed by the blast then I would have no complaints about my unit standing behind it being killed, but when the door is closed and undamaged how can a unit standing behind it be killed. This doesn't make sense.

- Depend on the door type. In original Laser Squad, the unit can be killed by the blast if he is behind the closed "auto open" door and wear no armor.
But behind a closed "manually open" door, the unit is not hurt. I see strong and weak door. Posted by

- My main point is that the door was NOT destroyed. If the door was destroyed I have no problem with my unit being killed. If the door is undamaged and closed it doesn't make sense that someone behind it could be killed. :)

- Maybe your unit was watching through the keyhole :)
