- Hi Steve, I've just noticed that when an alien dies the building walls remain intact. Is this just this mission or have all the alien horde missions been altered?

- That's deliberate. "Alien acid" doesn't destroy walls, only doors, in all missions.
- Ok, thanks for letting me know.

- Including Alien colony? Sure when my aliens have died they take some of walls out Steve.

- Personally I like a dying alien to alter the architectural landscape.

- Yeah I do. Makes playing them not only more fun but also more tactically appealing.

- I agree with both your points Xeno. Definitely more fun and tatically more interesting having the walls damaged. Also suits the aliens personality vandalising and terrifying the knee knocking humans!

- Yes, I always enjoy playing the aliens although I seems to get my bottom kicked when playing them in Alien Containment.

- I seems? Again, I do come from the West Country and I am watching Doc Martin at the moment but that was a typo. ;)

- Until recently I lived in Cornwall for over 15 years. And I have some ancestry in Devon so it is always warming to hear the west county accents. Though no one gets the Cornish accents right on tv. Always over do it and make them sound like country bumpkins!

- You are right, they do like to over do the accent on TV dramas, not deliberate I don't think, just mimicing the stereotype because that's all they know. If I try to do a West Country accent, as someone who has a Gloucestershire variety, here in the 'north' of the region, it comes out exaggerated like a farmer in a smock chewing a piece of straw.

- Btw, it's Alien Prison not Containment where I can't seem to win playing them.

- I think you're right in tv dramas they usually very positive about the West Country. In real life I always found the Cornish accent to be very gentle/ subtle and not so harsh rural sounding. I really like it a lot. The period dramas might be ok with the more rural accent.

- I think you might be right zeno, I've seen exploding aliens destroy walls, and the walls in this mission are weak, so they should presumably be destroyed. Hmm, I'm confused. I don't think there are any other settings that could affect this.
- I was hoping to try it out in my alien colony battle with Peter and Halo but Peter decided he would not fire on my aliens and would allow his men to be sacrificed as much needed nutrients. So alas I cannot say 100% for sure, but I'm 95% that my aliens destroyed some walls earlier in the mission when killed.
