- Oh no, this is the last turn... Oh well, that's what happens when you don't read the instructions!
- Valiant try mate. Difficult with only 10 turns.
Btw, meant to say before I loved Henry's Cat when I was younger. In fact I was probably to old for it at the time, being about 13 or 14, but then it was too good for kids. I can still do his voice well even now.
Just checked out wiki and can't believe there was 5 series made, thought there was only the two. Posted by

- It was pretty good Henry's Cat, I didn't realise they'd made so many either. It used to be something I'd say when something crap happens "oh well....(said Henry's Cat)". Then some years ago now one of my friends set up a gmail account for me, to get me away from hotmail and gave me a Henry's Cat picture. So I'm kind of stuck with it now.
I was a big fan of Danger Mouse for its irreverence and all the Lost Cities of Gold if you remember that one, it's class! It's still full of, well, mystery when I've watched it since with my own wee nippers. The Land of Laputa is also fantastic.
- Dangermouse I liked also although that again was probably as I was getting too old for those type of kid's shows but still enjoyed it. Saying that I remember coming across Count Duckula when I was about 18 and it became a guilty pleasure.
I remember Lost Cities of Gold but I was above its age group. I know that sounds rather contradictory after writing the above but they were comical and I suppose could appeal to the whole family.
Battle of the Planets, which was very similar in look to Lost Cities and wouldn't surprise me if it was done by the same company, was more around my time. Posted by

- I remember BofP, that was pretty strange. Anyone else remember Ulysses 31? I loved that one, but no-one else even remembers it.
- Ulysses, Ulysses, roaming through all the galaxies, in search of Earth and la la in to the skies. Then the chorus, ooh oh oh, U-oo-ooh-le-sses dada dada da da dah de dada. As you can doubtless see the theme tune was great. It was a great adventurous cartoon with him trying to get home on a giant space ship, generally hovering around, actually the vast majority of his companions were held in a kind of stasis. I think I was only about 7 at the time so my understanding was pretty limited. But it was a cool cartoon. Though I did prefer Cities of Gold. I actually ended up visiting Central America to see the ancient ruins, maybe partially through that early CoG exposure!
- I never saw BoP, but I should look it up one day.
- Ulysses 31 was irresistible, ancient greek mythology mixed up with sci-fi, the guy had kind of a ring or bracelet which could generate a round shield made of green laser or something, enemy shots rebounded harmlessly in that thing, and there was also a little red robot made with a Raspberry Pi, sure that cartoon was cool.
- Sadly we won't see Ulysses 31 on TV anymore, since the feminist mafia took over the mass media conglomerate any film or series showing a good father-son relationship is banned.
- Of course there are exceptions to this rule: films and series depicting good father-son relationships are allowed as long as the father dies at the end and there is some kick-ass Tomb Raider type chick around to take care of the boy, i could mention some examples but it would be spoiling the movies for those who didn't watch them yet.
- If you are a white heterosexual male you are the new Nazis. Take up self flagellation, and repent the sins of the your fathers, revenge is upon you. A new 'liberal' authoritarian age has come to set the 'wrongs' of the past to right. You were the bullies, no it's your turn to pay. We will discriminate against you.

- The Gloucestershire police force was ironically found guilty of racism because they dumped all white application forms into the bin. They were secretly accepting only non white applications. An ex-soldier who had applied and didn't even receive a reply delved into this and uncovered this policy. You try to banish discrimination by discriminating yourself? What blatant hypocrisy. The policy and promotion of equal opportunities is the only way, 'positive' discrimination is the antithesis of this. Unjust means to not justify the ends.

- I searched a little and found some 2006 articles about that issue, it seems politicians imposed a minimun percentage of 2.8% non-white agents for 2009 and they had only 1.6% at the time. It is not surprise they started to refuse white candidates, what is amazing is they didn't start firing white folks to make room for the Fruits of Positive Discrimination. This is going too far, the other day i even saw an article on a tech magazine stating that "female programmers are better than male programmers", maybe this explains why Yahoo went bankrupt little time after they replaced key male personnel with female counterparts. I talked too much, this is really dangerous stuff, remember the old sitting man informing Conan the barbarian and his friend about the snake cult in the movie? i know nothing, i know nothing, would you like to buy some clone brand Autocannon packs half the price of the Marsec ones?
- And now an idea for the game: how about adding an "Acme Autocannon" which costs only 30 credits but on every shot has a 25% chance of malfunctioning and exploding like an AP100 grenade instead of shooting?
