- Can't understand that myself. Both my men were on opp fire stood in front of your units, yet you were able to kill them without my men firing in return.

- Reading through the log you were able to prime a grenade and throw it while my men stood there on opp fire and allowed you to do! Instead of firing they stood playing with their dicks and did nothing! That's bullocks.

- This is a very nice feature of stellar forces. When I prime the grenade to blow up at the end of your turn, the game registers the opposition and the sight info. At my next turn the opportunity fire is disabled because the units were already visible.

- If that is the case then that is completely wrong and a flaw within the game. If a unit has opp fire then they should be able to fire when the opposing side moves during their turn. Pardon my language but what the fuck is the point of having opportunity fire if it doesn't function. Sounds like a bug that needs fixing. Far from happy about this as you can tell.

- This is something you should post to the game forum and ask Steve to revise. I like to abuse this feature, however I understand your astonishment. I had similar feelings when I first learned this behaviour. Your expectations are closer to reality.

- I have sent a PM to Steve about it. I will concede as I feel somewhat cheated. Not by you but by the game itself.

- In fact I will not play anymore Escort missions against you Hokunda. Sorry but if you are willing to use this bug in the game as I see it, then it is unfair. You may say why don't I exploit it also but that doesn't solve the problem, it simply comes down to who is best at exploiting it.

- I usually use this bug, because it gives me an advantage. If I set the grenades off at the end of my turn I disable my opportunity fires and you can shoot me down the same way as I do. The best would be to modify the program to always enable opportunity fires.
The other bug I usually use is the environment change trigger feature which causes blasters and autocannons to shoot repeatedly until the unit runs out of action points and not only once like normally. I have an idea about changing it. I open a topic for it. Posted by

- I admire the ingenuity and creativity of these two bug exploitations. It is a grey area of whether it is a type of cheating or simply pushing the boundaries of the game? But I think for sake of fairness and keeping the game on track they should be amended and preserve normal Op Fire functions. In the short term maybe resist using them?

- Yes. These aren't lavish improvements being asked for just basic bug repairs to restore a level playing field. Nobody please justify it by everyone should can exploit them. That's like saying instead of people being stopped gaining unfair advantages in an exam (didn't say cheat ;) )everyone should be allowed to do so. Loses the whole point then surely.
