Game 459: SteveSmith, PCasaca, Kocur in 3-Player The Assassins

- Since Kocur has conceded, I'm now on 100 VPs as I get VPs when his units are killed/removed. Somehow it doesn't seem right that I should win. Any suggestions as to what should happen?

- I can only recommend that you change this mission so that the Fugitives need to kill ALL of the Assassins to win, but reduce the two Assassin sides to 3 units per side.

- It seems a shame to change the mission like that just in case one player concedes. I'm afraid I might just have to win this one. :)

- Well personally I'm not too fond of the way the mission can end before all of the Assassins are dead, but that's just my opinion. :) You could always do it the other way and keep the Assassin sides with 4 units per side - make the Fugitives have to kill them all, but give them an extra unit or two.
Another method of solving this problem of when a player quits without upsetting the balance would simply be not to award any VPs for the quitting sides unkilled units. Surely that would work, wouldn't it? Posted by

- You're right, the mission should only end when all the assassins have been killed. I've changed it for future missions so it's that way, but increased the defenders units to 6.
I don't think your second option would work since it might then be impossible for one side to get to 100 VPs? Posted by
