- Damn! I thought I'd planned my tactic out so carefully too. You even managed to dodge the grenade! :(

- Errr.. well that was an unexpectedly strange outcome.
I was hoping Turvey would be wounded and slow, but lucky for you the injury was minor. So then I decided to do something drastic - expecting the outcome to be the game would be a draw. We both lost 2 units, but I suppose technically I did kill more of your units than you killed of mine. Unlucky *grins* Posted by

- Well played, I thought I had it in the bag, but looking at the map you were at lot closer behind me than I thought.
Tuvery was on 13 HP. 1 less and he would have been a slow liability.
Yes, that victory poses more questions! Should I get the VP's for you killing your own unit? It was originally like that, but since I introduced 3&4 player missions, I changed it to keep track of which side killed which, and only the side that did the killing got the VPs (except when it was your own side of course). - Which unit was it that killed their own? Or was it suicide?

- It was Kamikaze suicide bomber Recruit Bebop, R.I.P.

- I don't know? I feel very biased towards saying no right now. :)

- Ok. On reflection you probably should have got VP's for my suicide and this should have been a draw. :'(

- How about a compromise: you can keep the victory but I'll change the rules for future games. (I'm not just suggesting this to save me the task of having to amend the data, honest ;) ).

- This sounds like a very reasonable compromise. :)

- Maybe as a future campaign feature, players could incur penalties for killing their own units?

- Yeah that would makes sense, but I can't really think exactly how we could implement it. It's easy if a unit kills a friendly unit we can deduct them 3 points. But what do we do in similar cases to that of suicide bomber Rct. Bebop? Where do the points get deducted from?

- Maybe a player could have some stats stored against them, like how many of their own units they have killed, which will affect their overall rank value total?

- Yeah that would work. It would need to be displayed somewhere though, so that players are not confused why the total points of their current squad do not add up. Maybe you could display it on the Campaign League Table - Top Players table - have a new column called Penalties which would be points subtracted from the player's Points total.
