Game 853: wonderhero, victor in The Assassins - Campaign Version*
You are here: Stellar Forces > Your Games > Game 853: wonderhero, victor in The Assassins - Campaign Version*
- It was my first campaign mission. Victor, this mission belongs to your campaign too ?
Something is wrong. Steve take a look pls.: all Victor's units had no reaction (no opportunity fire) after deploy. Why ?
Victor's unit no. 4 and 8 should be dead by 100AP grenade. I will sent to you the print screen with error.
Thank's for game Victor. Posted by

- I think this map must be modified... especially when is about Sterner Regnix!

- If the assassins can level the entire building on turn 1 clearly they have too many credits.

- I've never seen someone cause so much destruction of the 1st before. Wonderhero, did you buy no armour or weapons, only grenades and rockets?
Also I think maybe some of those explosions were grenades which Victor's units were carrying which exploded in a chain reaction. I think Steve has fairly recently changed how the games work so that explosions can detonate unprimed grenades which units are carrying. Since this there have been a lot more mass explosions on mission. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad. It does make the game quite fun, but maybe in situations like this you are correct in suggesting the credits might need reducing a bit. Posted by

- I used only half of credits. So the credits is fine.
1. The deploy zones are very close each other.
2. For this type of mission with Sterner and breakable walls the map is to small.
Just imagine what could happen on "The Asssasins" original mission. Needs just 5 grenades :) Posted by

- I bought 3 Techno Armours, 3 Launchers Rockets and the rest of credits just grenades. I fired 3 rockets and I used only half of grenades, exactly 4 (the last one hurt my self :). The rest was chain reaction like you said.

- It was a little risky, but what is the chance to place Sterner in the middle ? 80, 90% ? :)

- At least, almost every unit were recruits, what a slaughter!! Nice tactic wonderhero.

- Thank's, but it's not fair to win in first turn.

- I think the "chain reaction" feature has always been there (unless I'm mistaken), although it does seem to have made itself known in a lot of recent games. Maybe I should add a random element as to whether it explodes or not?

- Has it? I was wasn't sure, I thought this must be a recent thing as I noticed it much in the past. It is fun, but sometimes a little too deadly.
A random element might be a good idea. Maybe change it so there is something like a 50% chance grenades/rockets caught in explosions will further explode... Posted by

- You have to know it better than anyone here, but as Deadlime I think this is somehow recent but not sure how much.
BTW, maybe this chain reaction make us think it twice before equipping granades and prevent a little this from being 'like chess with bombs'. Posted by

- Yes, it does make equipping with grenades very dangerous (maybe too dangerous). As Deadlime has suggested, I'm going to change it so that there is only a 50% chance of a chain reaction.

- Steve, I won this game 853 (6 killed) and 1 draw with Deadlime and I got only 7 points in league table ?

- If units holding rank points are killed, you will lose those points. Your league points are made up from the total rank points of your current living units.

- Thank's. If I knew that I whouldn't use all units in the next game.

- I thought you seemed very keen to keep fighting in our last game. Most players concede to save their units when they don't think they will win. :)
