• Unbelievable that I tried to start one in 2019. Thought it was either last year or 2020. Just shows how time flashes by that it was 3 years ago. Where does it go!

  We seem quite active at the moment so maybe try again. Even if it is just two person teams. I remember Rabid playing by himself and gave him an award. Not because he's unfriendly :D but others in the team deserted so he took us on, and was a one man slaughterhouse.
  
  Only needs eight. Peter and I, against three others. We smash the hell out of each other in the usual games, no prisoners taken, but in a campaign we are a team. Like two comfort blankets in our old age.:D
  
  So we meet you in the arena. Remember this can go on for two months (used to be even longer!) So only sign up if you last the course.

  Maybe time hasn't gone that quick, phew!
  
  Looked at the last campaign thread and it said 2019, remember trying to get one together so thought it was that but it is later in the thread I tried, just didn't make a new post, tacked it on the end of the last. New one created now. Still, we didn't have one in 2020 or 2021.

• I'm Mr Nice Guy in the forum, will give anyone help and tips. But on the battlefield, I give no quarter. Although Ethereal Slayer has asked for none. He's learning the hard way, but he's dishing it out also and giving me a run for my money.

• The campaign has started, please join a faction now. (The button is on the Galaxy Map page). I've not allowed any attacking yet, I thought it best to wait until all the teams are properly organised (and populated).

• You can't, they're allocated randomly, but there should always be equal numbers of players in each.

• Late to the party, but I?m in now. Marseilles seem to have less starting sectors than other factions though? Doesn?t that leave us at a disadvantage?

  I think before the victory conditions were who held the most corners, but now it?s how many sectors ? So it makes more difference now. I may be wrong!

• I think for previous campaigns, we decided on a fixed end date, and the winner is who has the most sectors at that point. I'll propose the end of May (31st)?

• Steve, have the votes come in on allowing people to join after the campaign has started? I really did think you had agreed it was a no after previous debates on this issue. Feels like Deja Vu once again, once again.
  
  I think we can safely say that Omni Corp has won. Peter and I stand victorious.

• I think the vote was about 2 votes for and 2 against, so I've left it as it is. Don't forget there's still 6 days of the campaign left, unless you can get all 4 corners.

• Ah, it looks like there's an old feature that removes players from factions that don't log in for 7 days. Let me know which faction were you in and I'll re-add you. The campaign ends Tuesday night.

• I was briefly in Marsec, attached a few sectors, then logged in to see if I had a turn and all my attacks had disappeared?. But I was getting a ?join a faction? message?. So I clicked that and now I?m in Omnicorp.

• It also looks like the sectors I attacked as Marsec are now being attached as me under Omnicorp . Including sectors that have no adjacent Omnicorp square, so it?s all messed up.

• I've moved you back into into Marsec. It looks like it took you straight out again after I'd added you since it thought you still hadn't logged in for a week. Hopefully it should be sorted now.

• Well, it looks like the campaign is over for another year, but it's been a great one. Technically there's until the end of today to finish, but Omni Corp have 36 sectors, 25 more than the next faction, and they also have 3 corners, so there's no way another faction can win by the end of today. So congratulations to Pete and Xeno for being the 2022 Campaign Winners! Well played everyone, and thanks for joining in!
