Game 53230: Ethereal Slayer, Chris1977 in 'Superhuman: Defend the Base'
You are here: Stellar Forces > Your Games > Game 53230: Ethereal Slayer, Chris1977 in 'Superhuman: Defend the Base'
- Well, that was over in the blink of an eye! I didn't mean to shoot the computer, honest, but you were all over it anyway, and I was determined to take at least one superhuman with me by whatever means...

- Ha ha that was unlucky on your part. And not a tactic I would rely on for the win.
Would you like to set up the next one?
There's still lots of missions I've not tried.
- How about you give me your SF "bucket list" and I'll pick one...

- Oww ok
'Missions Not Played:The Assassins 2v2, Moonbase Assault 2v2, Moonbase Assault 3-Player, Moonbase Assault: Undercover Agent, Superhuman: Moonbase Assault, Denunciation 2v2, and more'
Copied from my SF page
- Well, I've just finished a particularly bruising game of Denunciation 2v2, so how about you and I put our bonces together for that and see if we can come up with a winning strategy against the other side?
While we waited for said other side to sign up (which could take a while, let's face it), we could be playing head-to-head in Superhuman Moonbase, with yours truly as the superhumans.
Assuming you're agreeable to all that, there's one final bit of business to discuss: do I set one/both up as practice or "in it for the league points"...? Posted by

- Update: I've set up both those games as practice games - this seemed the fairest option since you're a newbie to them*. Please select Banana Republic B as your side, then we can see who else joins and talk tactics on that basis before kitting up and deploying...
* Mind you, a lot of the more longstanding players seem to choose practice games these days, perhaps because they don't want to jeopardise their leaderboard places! Posted by

- (The Bsnana Republic B request etc. relates to Denunciation, obvs.)

- Nice work. I'm agreeable to all this.
I don't mind what type of games.
The league stuff is time dependent anyway. So you drop down quickly if you don't play rated games anyway.
Plus the points you get depend on the level of your opponent.
- I only set up practice games in four player missions often three player also. One on one I always do non practice. The former I see more as fun and I'm more blas in my approach, although I still try to win. The latter I'm more competitive. I'll join your Denunciation 2V2 if that's okay.

- That was blas but looks like it doesn't like the accent on the end e.

- Certainly, @xeno - feel free! And thanks to you and @Ethereal Slayer
for your insights on "to practise or not to practise". Obviously we're still awaiting your teammate, whoever that may be, and in the meantime ol' Slayer and I will be talking tactics with each other before tooling up and deploying... Posted by

- And you have pointed out that we both in our previous posts were spelling practise wrong at least in British English although we do spell it practice when it's a verb. :D

- Hold on I think we actually had it right. It should be practice games. You practise at practice games. Correct?

- Yup, it's S for a verb and C for all other forms of the word - trust me, I'm an editor (and also, for that matter, British) IRL. And as an editor I understood (and sympathised with) your accented-E problems, so don't sweat it!
