In my opinion with just to escape squares, situated in opposite corners, this mission will be more balanced. Please don't get me wrong, I'm just giving ideas to try to improve the game.
I was still learning the ropes when I was handily trounced by Victor, but I do wonder about the exit points myself. Perhaps in the L-shaped rooms (the escape rooms) one door to the outside could be eliminated? Just my first thought, because covering both doors in the L's is trickier.
Two entrances to the L's, but only one exit door in each L, just to clarify. That's what I was wondering about.
Seems to me, now that I've grown to understand more of the game, that the defenders have a reasonable advantage. I just played it poorly. Victor kept his forces together nicely and I spread mine thin and had them poorly equipped. If I'd been smarter and given my men better weapons (reading the forum I've learned a thing or two about what weapons work better) I think I would have provided more challenge.

Waddyaknow, I've finally got round to doing this! Let me know if it suits.
